Dink for Good: A Pickleball Showdown with Heart

On June 21, pickleball players of all levels came together at Lifetime Fitness in Sterling, VA, for an afternoon of fun, friendly competition, and meaningful impact—and we’re thrilled to share that the Dink for Good Charity Pickleball Tournament was a huge success!
Hosted in partnership with MatchPoint, this unique event combined sport and service to raise funds and awareness for Touching Heart’s mission: to inspire children to become compassionate leaders through kindness, empathy, and real-world giving.
Participants enjoyed two hours of spirited matches, with a $75 prize on the line and plenty of high-energy moments. Thanks to the generosity of our players and supporters, the tournament raised several hundred dollars to support Touching Heart programs—funds that will go directly toward helping kids build emotional intelligence, lead with kindness, and take meaningful action in their communities.
A special thank-you goes out to our incredible hosts and players who made this event possible, and to our Junior Board members Jojo, Ruu and Myra, who played an essential role in helping the day run smoothly.
We’re so grateful for everyone who rallied for kindness with us. Events like Dink for Good show the power of community and play in making a real difference.
