Toys of Joy

As part of the Touching Heart Leadership Program, Krsna led a meaningful service project called Toys of Joy.

Through his project, Krsna helped grant wishes for children at Children’s National Hospital by donating gifts from the hospital’s wish list to help brighten the days of the children they serve.

But the impact of the project went beyond the donations.

“This leadership course has helped me out a lot,” Krsna shared. “I used to not talk that much. I was a very big introvert… But now I feel like I’ve gotten better because I talk to all my friends and classmates and answer questions at school.”

Throughout the program, Krsna not only made a difference for others, but also grew in confidence, communication, and leadership.

We are so proud of Krsna for stepping outside his comfort zone, leading with heart, and using kindness to make a difference.
