In December 2019, true heroes were found in the form of Oakton High School’s Touching Heart Club. Immediately after learning there was a need for food to support disadvantaged children within their community, the club members took action. The club quickly assembled a food drive, volunteered their time to promote it, and in the end received an overwhelming response! In just two weeks they collected enough snack items to assemble approximately 100 snack bags, each filled with a variety of items!
