Rachel Carson Middle School hosted Monster Golf Putt-putt, one of their many service activities for the year. This event raised funds for a free clinic in one of the most impoverished areas of Uganda.   Check out images here!

Touching Heart had a great time sharing our mission and making blankets for foster care at this Art of Giving Workshop. We were able to donate 26 cozy homemade blankets to children in need as a result.  Click here for more pictures from this workshop. 

For returning Touching Heart leaders, Maya Magnus and Marissa Hennigan, this was their second Kids on a Mission Basketball Clinic. Boys and girls, from Pre-K to 8th grade, filled the auditorium at St. Stephen of Hungary School with sounds of laughter, cheers, and sneaker squeaks. Clarksburg High School in Maryland gathered family members and friends to view Big Hero 6 and raise funds to help support a very special project they have been working on for 2 years, building gardens and planting hundreds of plants to help feed and provide income for children in need at a school in Haiti.

Touching Heart was thrilled to once again help support Fairfax County’s Christmas Party for children in foster care! Making crafts with the children and helping them shop for their family members brought smiles to their faces and ours as well!  Check out pictures from this event here!

Over 130 kids came out to Skatequest to ice skate and to support the RCMS Touching Heart Club as they raised money to help children in need with Albanism in Tanzania. So proud of their hearts to help others!!  Check out pictures from this fun event here! 

On Sunday, December 2nd – kids and their families gathered to start the holiday season with the spirit of giving in New York City. There was delicious food, holiday themed crafts / activities, and dance performances! Kids made cold-care packages for the homeless and everyone brought a present to be wrapped and donated to kids…

One of our favorite days of the year… Santa’s Workshop!
