civiilty day 2 for impactCivility Day #2 took place on December 11, 2015 on the campus of George Mason University. One group called their cause “Walls for Kenya” and raised money to rebuild a stone wall around a high school at an orphanage in Kenya.They wore matching t-shirts and set up a kiosk at the Student Center and collected donations and gave out candy.To collect event more donations they also held a fundraiser at a local restaurant and had a “Go Fund Me” page.The other group wanted their cause to be helping local foster care students have bicycles to get to work and school. This group sold coffee,cookies and donuts in front of the Student Center. They also had a few t-shirts and hats for sale. It was a beautiful day outside and they got a lot of people stop by!
