Our 3rd Annual Minecraft for a Mission at George Mason Game and Technology Academy was a great success! Our attendees enjoyed an exciting afternoon of Minecrafting, a Silent Auction and Raffle, Concessions and event bought Minecraft for a Mission T-shirts to commemorate the day! The young leaders of this event chose two worthy causes! First, funds raised will support local babies in foster care who are in need of basics like food, clothes, diapers, wipes and cribs. The remaining funds will purchase a dairy cow and hens for an orphanage in Uganda to provide nutrition for the children as well as a source of income for the orphanage. We are so proud of our event leaders, Austin, Jackson, Michael and Josh for all their work and their big hearts for giving back!! While discussing the funds being raised and the children they would help, one of the boys said, “I feel so great about this!” We couldn’t agree more! See event photos.
