Touching Heart is thrilled to be the chosen charity for RIVA Solutions’ annual Staying Connected Charity and Networking Event.

The funds raised at this event will be used for Hurricane Disaster Relief efforts to stock food pantries and provide needed supplies to support families recovering from Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma. Many areas are still without power and resources and clean-up to ensure roads in affected areas are safe for travel could take months.  Food pantries are vital in these communities and are especially critical in times of great need.

RIVA Solutions is a small business working with the federal government to provide innovative best practices in IT and management consulting, program support services and emerging technologies.  RIVA’s Management Team established the Staying Connected Program 10 years ago to build stronger relationships with the people who matter – employees, customers, partners and our community– based on shared value systems, regular connections, and quarterly touch points.  RIVA’s annual Staying Connected Event is known within industry and government circles as a top networking and charity event. This invite-only fundraiser brings 150+ of our closest connections together for food, drinks, and raffle prizes, and idea-sharing.

Touching Heart’s mission is to inspire children to have giving hearts and experience the true joy in giving back.  Our innovative programs challenge kids to think beyond themselves and to put their compassion into action to make a difference for people in need.  Through our Kids on a Mission fundraising program and our Schools on a Mission after school program, we are helping kids make a difference today and become compassionate leaders of tomorrow!
